To help my daughter move to New Jersey, we started a nine days cross-country trip from SoCal (Southern California) to New Jersey. The first stop was Sedona, Arizona, following that was Santa Fe, New Mexico; Oaklahoma City, Oaklahoma; Armarillo, Texas; Memphis Tennesee; Atlanta, Georgia; Columbia, South Carolina; Williamsburg, Virginia; then Princeton, New Jersey. During the trip, we also passed through Missippi, Alabama, and North Carolina.
The entire trip was a new experience to me. Continent America is sooooo beautiful and diversified for its culture, food, geographic distribution, and people. This time around we took a route to go through southern states of America instead of mid West states. Contratry to what I thought I would have been exhausted and tired after the trip, I felt great and refreshing.
Life is about experiences! I am very glad we made through the trip safe and sound. Meanwhile, we enriched our life by viewing and staying different cities that were only known to us through news and maps in the past. As soon as I fly back to SoCal, I will share my travel journal in Chinese. Stay tuned!
